Native range

Paralithodes camtschaticus is native to the Okhotsk and Japan Sea, Bering Sea and Northern Pacific Ocean. In Asian water, this species occurs from the sea of Japan northward into the Sea of Okhotsk, along the eastern coast of Siberia and the coasts of the Kamchatka peninsula. In the Northeast Pacific and Bering Sea distribution extends throughout the Aleutian Island chain, north to Norton Sound, Alaska, and southeast to Great Bay in Vancouver Island, Canada. (ADF&G 1985)
