In this Blog I will be writing about deep-sea creatures and living fossil.
Deep seas are considered to be 200m deep and beyond where no light from the sun can penetrate. With no light to support the photosynthetic organisms many scientist believed that there were no life existed in these depths. However now we know thanks to technological advancement we can send submarines to see many deep-sea creatures.
Living fossil is an organism that looks similar to the fossils and living relative of the fossils (Novacek, 1992). For millions of years it is believed that these organisms have never changed its morphology.
