Extreme Ice habitats

In this blog I will be looking at the extreme habitat of sea ice.

In particular I will be focusing on penguins, a family of birds notable for lacking the ability to fly…

This will mean looking at the adaptations that allow penguins to live in such harsh environments, and how this family of animals can adapt changes in this environment.

    Sounds good, I’d be interested to hear what organisms you will focus on. You might want to consider just covering a single species, as this would allow for detail and depth. I’ll check back for updates soon!

    • Thank you Andy, sorry it’s taken so long to reply I’ve been looking through everything to review my options. I have decided to focus in on penguins and may narrow down further to look specifically at Adelie penguins if I find the need to focus more.
