The Polar Whale

The Bowhead Whale, Balaena mysticetus (Linnaeus,1758) are also called Arctic Right Whale, Greenland Right Whale, Great Polar Whales or Ahvik (Braham, et al. 1980). This is a rare baleen cetaceans (family: Balaenidae) that spends its entire life cycle around and in Arctic waters (Braham H.W. 1984).

  2. Very nice looking blog, comments a little hard to read because they are different colours, so maybe see if you can sort that in the Themes section.

    Your blog seems like an interesting area and if you follow this through should be a nicely focussed blog. For a single species description, I like to see detailed information about the species, focussed along a question such as what do they contribute to the ecosystem?, why are they important? and so on.
